Younique Mineral Touch Foundation

Hey Everybody
Welcome to my blog.

Today I’m going to review the Younique Mineral Touch Foundation for you guys. This is an honest review and not sponsored in anyway. I’m not a company presenter or a sales person this is just an honest review of the product.

I could be talking about any other in trend foundation yet the reason why I’m talking about a brand about which I don’t know much, is because I fell in love with this foundation the minute I started using this.

The Mineral Touch Foundation is a weightless foundation. It is the perfect cocktail of nourishment and coverage. Having a problematic skin I have tried too many foundations. All the foundations that I have ever tried are either too drying or too heavy, not enough coverage, sometimes cakey, sometimes turn very greasy during the day. For a straight year I used to use an oil free yet heavy moisturiser under my Estee Lauder Foundation because it was just perfect coverage. I still love it but for day wear or when I don’t need a heavy base, I found the perfect solution.

APPLICATION: I cant believe how well it colour matches my skin. The way I apply it is by using a two or three dots on my face and then blending it in with a damp beauty sponge the one I use is a real techniques sponge. My skin instantly looks flawless, hydrated and glowing. Best part is that after applying the foundation I don’t have to set it with a powder as it has a matte finish. I let it set for a few minutes before going in with any bronzer or blush.

I’d recommend this foundation to anyone who has dry and problematic skin. It gives a flawless coverage and is weightless.

MAC Techniques Class Review

Mac Techniques Class can be a very known workshop for everyone interested in beauty and make-up. Yet about 2 weeks ago I attended my first MAC Techniques class. I’m very interested in attending workshops and classes that can update my knowledge about makeup.

The class I attended was in the Mac store in Myer, Perth City.

It was a 2 hour class which cost me A$120 (May be different in different countries). The cost of the class can be redeemed by buying products of the same amount.

The first hour in the class was demonstrations in which two senior artists taught and showed different tips and techniques of applications on two models (one each). The next hour is dedicated to one on one interaction between MAC artists and you to talk about your concerns, or product related questions etc. After which they can redeem your class cost with the products you purchase.

Products I bought from the mac store. These products include the cost that got added on to the initial redemption as I ended up buying a little more.

  2. Flat out fabulous A$36

Overall It was a fun experience I would suggest it to anyone who wants to go for a update meeting on mac products and wants to buy products at the same time. I will not suggest this to you if you are looking for a first time make up class. Because this isn’t a proper makeup institute or academy class. However MAC does offer you a one on one session class if you’re just looking for something on yourself and not as a make up artist. Also, I wish there were more looks that could be shown other then that, it was a wonderful experience.
