So this month I’ve been doing a lot of makeup looks since its the wedding season and summer holidays in India. I will have the other looks also uploaded as soon as I can but for now you guys can follow me on Instagram and Facebook to get ahead and know all the different looks I’ve been creating.
So lets get into this, I wanted a beautiful purple ombre effect and I wanted to create a right amount of sparkle without the use of loose glitter because that would cover up the purple ombre.
If you Like this look and want me to do more don’t forget to like this blog and comment what Colours would you like me to play with next. I love you guys so much and stay tuned for much more. Now lets get into it!
I’ve used all Makeup Geek Eyeshadows for this look.
Step 1 – Frappe on the crease blended outwards with a fluffy brush
Step 2 – Cocoabear with a fluffy brush that has slightly shorter bristles on the crease and slightly upwards
Step 3 – Bringing Cherry Cola from out to in and leaving it at half and taking it forward with Bitten to lighten it slightly.
Step 4 – Starting from the inner corner of the eyelid I place the colour Vintage with a slight tapping motions.
Step 5 – To add dimension I add Americano to the outer edges bringing it inwards and blending it into the crease creating a V shape.
Step 6 – I added a some rapunzel eyeshadow to the inner corner of the eyes and them brushed a light stroke of it till the 2/3rds of the eyes to just have enough sparkle that does not cover the eyeshadow.
Step 7 – Gel Eyeliner – Kryolan & Stila Huge Extreme Lash Mascara (Such a beautiful product)
VOILA!! The Purple Starry Eye Makeup.
Thank you Guys, Hoping to hear from you on Instagram/ Facebook or the comments section below <3
The Urban Decay Vice 4 palette is my favourite palette and it creates an infinite number of looks. This is just one of them with one of my favourite shades in the palette that is Bitten which is an orangey brown matte colour that can warm up and bring a pop to any look.
If you want to see how I created the look please read further.
Step 1 – I prepped the eyelids with MAC concealer in NC42 and a translucent powder to set the concealer.
Step 2 – I used the colour Framed all over the transition area.
Step 3 – I used the colour Bitten on the crease region to warm the look.
Step 4 – I used the colour Delete on the outer corners of the eyes and blended it into the crease and down onto the lower lashes.
Step 5 – I used Flame in the middle of the lid and blended it along in the inner corner of the eyes.
Step 6 – Then I used the colour Bones in the inner corner of the eyes to brighten up the inner corner and make the look come together. I also blended the same colour on the brow bone.
Step 7 – I filled in my brows with Maybelline Brow Powder
Step 8 – I completed the look with Inglot Gel Eyeliner in Black, Stila Mascara and Ardency Inn eyeliner in the waterline.

Hey Beauty Lovers, I’m here with another eye-makeup look that is much different to what we usually wear. It is night time appropriate, it looks gorgeous and compliments dark eyes. I love how the colours just add a pop and bring out the eyes.
Step 1 – To achieve this look I started by prepping my eyes with MAC prolongwear concealer in NC42 all over my lid and set that with translucent powder.
Step 2 – I used a mixture of Make up Geek peach smoothie (3) and Creme brûlée (4) on the transition are of my eyes and on the lower lash.
Step 3 – I applied Makeup Geek Cocoa Bear (7) in the inner corner and the outer corner of my eye and blend it through in the crease and on the lower lash.
Step 4 – I used Makeup Geek Americano (8) in the same area as cocoa bear (7) to intensify it.
Step 5 – I used Makeup Geek Houdini (16) with a flat synthetic brush in the middle of the lid and blend it outwards. (Tip – You can use your ring finger for this step it would work just as great if not better)
Step 6 – I used my Urban Decay Vice 4 palette’s colour grasshopper (first swatch on the picture below) dabbing it with my finger on the ball to bring more light and dual toned effect. (Tip – You can use any lighter green with shimmer for this I used the Vice 4 palette as it was accessible)
sTEP 5 – I tight lined my eyes with Ardency Inn Liner and Used a liquid liner for the wing. I only started lining from half of my lid as I have small eyes and I really wanted to show the gorgeous colour.
Step 10 – Last I used Loreal Butterfly Mascara.
Step 11 – I applied Makeup Geek Rapunzel (2) on the inner corner to brighten up the whole look.

Hello everybody, welcome to my blog again. Today I’m going to share with you guys my top 16 eyeshadows from Makeup Geek. I ordered a total of 30 eyeshadows in span 6 months, I love all of them in the XL sized Z palette that holds 35 eyeshadows. I narrowed the list down to the 16 favourite ones.
I’m not going to waste your time by writing a paragraph detailing each one. I have listed the eyeshadow names, cost, a small description and I have also swatched all 16 for you.
Mirage – (US $6) – This is the best eyeshadow if your eyeshadow is not blending out in the crease well or you’ve gone too high with your eyeshadow this colour can soften the look and blend the shadow right away without being shimmery or frosty.
Rapunzel – (US $6) – This is the most gorgeous eyeshadow that has just the right amount of sheen to it, its not shimmery its also not chalky as some lighter shadows can be. It is beautiful for brighten and open up your eyes.
Peach Smoothie – (US $6) – This is a matte crease colour, it might not show well on darker skin tones but I personally love to mix it with other shades such as Creme Brulee and Frappeto blend them.
Creme Brûlée – (US $6) – This one is a gorgeous crease colour. It looks flattering on light to medium skin tones.
Dessert Sands – (US $6) – This one is beautiful ochre yellow, earthy toned colour that can warm up any crease.
Frappe – (US $6) – Frappe and Creme Brulee are very similar in tones however frappe is darker.
Coco Bear – (US $6) – Coco bear is a gorgeous matte brown. Reminds me of darker version of MAC’s Soft Brown eyeshadow.
Americano – (US $6) – Americano is a dark brown shade, I love to use this in the outer corner of my eyes and underneath my lower lash line to smoke out the lower lash line.
Cupcake – (US $6) – Cupcake is a straight up baby pink. I love experimenting with colours and it looks very flattering for a pinky purple eye look.
Vintage – (US $6) – Vintage is a purply pink shade.
Bitten – (US $6) – Bitten deep burgundy purple shade.
Cherry Cola – (US $6) – Cherry cola is a matte deep purplish brown shade. Cherry cola and Americano together will look the same as MAC’s Embark.
Poppy – (US $6) – Poppy is right up orange. I personally found it very intimidating but once I got the hang of using it right it is gorgeous!!!
Foiled Eyeshadow – Grandstand – (US $10) Grandstand is a beautiful champagney gold eyeshadow its so flattering on all skin colour.
Foiled Eyeshadow – Jester – (US $10) Jester is a green shimmery eyeshadow with gold undertones in it. I love it so much for a coloured eye look.
Foiled Eyeshadow – Houdini – (US $10) – Houdini is a beautiful dark greeny turquoise,Sorry I cant explain it, but its beautiful. This and a smoked out crease is all you need for a coloured smokey eye for a night time look.
Swatched them all here for you. 🙂

Hi everyone welcome to my blog. Today I’m doing a make up tutorial for you all. I wanted to do something that has sheen without it looking too glittery on the eyes. I have written down and listed all the products I used to achieve this look. Alright so lets get into it.
I started with applying a moisturiser all over my face. Then I primed my eyes using the MAC Pro long wear Concealer in the shade NC 42 with a damp beauty blender. I used the same beauty blender to powder all around the under eye and the eye lids to set the concealer in place. This will also help my eyeshadows to blend easily without caking or looking patchy.
I then used the eyeshadows from the Smashbox full exposure palette for transition and the crease. I used this you can use anything you have in your collections the colours are just the dark and a light brown on top of each other to add depth to the eye area
I used the Maybelline colour tattoo in the shade barely branded in the inner corner and the centre of the lid and gently blended it outward
I buffed in a bit of black eyeshadow from the same Smashbox full exposure palette in the outer corners of the eyes pulling the it outwards to lift the eyes.
I then went in with a MAC Fix plus on my brush and L’OREAL Infallible eyeshadow in the colour Hourglass Beige to intensify the colour on the lids.
I had a emotional breakdown as my favourite eyeliner quit working half way in so I went in with Inglot gel liner to finish the look. I filled my brows in using Maybelline Master Brow Pro Palette and L’OREAL brow plumper (any brow gel would do). I used the Estee Lauder Sumptuous Bold volume lifting Mascara.
I completed the rest of my face using MAC Studio sculpt foundation in NC 40. Added a bit of contour using the MAC bronzing powder in matte bronze and for the lips i used Double Dare liquid lipstick by KAT VON D.
I hope you liked my post and I would love to do more, please comment if there is something you’d like me to do next. Like this post and please subscribe to my blog. I’ll See You Guys Soon.

Everyone has been raving about the Morphe 350 eyeshadows after which morphe cosmetics came up with two palettes identical to the original one yet quite different as these two palettes (350M & 350S) are opposites in nature yet from the same family. The 350M contains all matte shades and the 350S has all shimmer. The palettes individually retail at US $22 and together at US $44.
Swatch and review of the first two rows –
The first two rows are the lighter shades and the most popping colours best for highlighting the lid and the brow bone.
Swatch and review of the middle row –
The middle row to my eye looks like a mixture of the darks, lights, reds, maroons. Its more like a showcase of bits of the palettes. It has gorgeous colours and my personal favourite is the fourth colour in the row. It has the perfect amount of glitter and sheen and it will add warmth to the eyes.
Swatch and review of the Last two rows –
The last two rows are mostly cool tones except for the two at the end. I love all of these colours, extremely gorgeous, very pigmented.
The complete palette swatches
Overall the palette as you can see has highly pigmented eyeshadows. These are just one sweep across with my finger and thats the pigment payoff. I have captured these in natural light as it would help you to see the true colours of the eyeshadows.
As mentioned in my previous post these pigments do have a bit of fall out. While cleansing these eyeshadows, I have noticed its very easy with a wet wipe or a cotton pad and a remover (if you prefer so), you don’t have to rub too much a soft glide takes off all the pigment without leaving any sparkles on your eyelids, which unfortunately does happen with many shimmer shadows.
